Hoppin' Hound will be April 13th, 2025. $40 vendor fee. Payment / signup deadline: March 30th. After the 30th the fee will increase to $50.00, and the last day to sign up is April 6th. Cakehound will bake and stuff all of the Easter eggs you'll need for the event. In the event you have extra please keep the cookies for any furry visitors you may have, and return the eggs to Cakehound so we can re-use them next year.

Sunday April 13th from 12-3:00pm. (I have event check in set for 12:00noon and 1:00pm in two blocks to reduce bottle necking and spread the folks out a bit. Folks will have until 3:00pm to finish the route. Tickets for the event will be posted online through www.thecakehound.com, with $2 per ticket donated to Friends of the Shelter.
Dogs would check in at Schiller Park, collect a map of participating locations a bag to collect their treats and any other items you’d like to give out as promotion of your business. Bonus- the Easter Bunny will be set up at Cakehound taking DIY pictures that will also benefit Friends of the Shelter.
Ex. If you are non dog friendly inside, you could hand out samples or coupons so people could come back at another time; on the flip side if you are dog friendly simply open your doors so people can browse your selections, dogs in tow.
If you don’t have staff to distribute the treats, you are welcome to leave them at your front door- but people do tend to get greedy, unfortunately (think of you or your siblings 12 year old self at trick or treat at the last houses…), which looks bad on all of us because one dog didn’t get his snack.
Treats: all treats will be provided by Cakehound. They are themed Spring cookie cutouts (eggs, bunnies, flowers, etc )
