About Us
Here at Cakehound we believe in giving your pups the highest quality treats. That is why we focus on using all natural ingredients in all of the carefully created recipes, right down to the coloring (carob, peanut, beet, spinach, turmeric, and spirulina powders). Every treat is made completely from scratch. Each cake and cupcake is mixed, scooped, baked and decorated; each cookie is rolled out, baked and hand decorated. This means a lot of love goes into each bite and we truly believe both you and your pup can tell the difference. We definitely are different breed of dog bakery in that each goodie is incredibly soft so even the near toothless can enjoy!
Teresa has had a love and curiosity of baking since she was young. She started baking for dogs in 2010 at a bakery in the Short North where she learned the importance of giving your dogs natural treats. She loves to create custom cakes- no idea is too wild so don't hesitate to make inquiries.
Also featured in the shop are hand made accesories from Cheerful Hound, Contigo Dogs, Doggish, and Stitched by Bri.

If you just realized it's your dogs special day and need something immediately feel free to call (614-372-5362)- every once and a while there is an extra cake or two. You can also visit Doggie Day Spa for a selection of cookies (and some puppy pampering), or Fangs and Fur in Grandview for a selection of cookies, cupcakes and "happy birthday" or "lets pawty" cakes or lastly The Buckeye Lady to get dog buckeyes and satisfy your human cravings too.
