
Join the German Village Fun Bunch, Cakehound and Stop the Suffering for Trick or Treat in German Village on October 29th, from 12:00-3:00pm. The event will be split into two arrival times to spread traffic out. $3 from each ticket will be donated to Stop the Suffering on your behalf.
One ticket per dog.
Select local pickup at checkout if prompted. You will use your order number or name at time of check in- there are no physical tickets.
How it works:
Free street Parking is available throughout German Village and near Schiller Park.
Check in at Cakehound tent in Schiller park with your order # or name: (no early check ins as several participating businesses don't open until noon!)
Collect your first treat and your parade / trick or treat map. Head out to strut you and your pups stuff! Costumes highly encouraged!! See details below for entering the costume contest.
The parade route will travel through German Village stopping at participating businesses where you will collect your Cakehound Howl-o-ween cookie and can shop, eat, drink and enjoy each business before moving to the next stop. Follow the tail markers: paw prints and/or balloons to the next participating business. Route is around 2 miles.
The Costume Contest:
There will be 3 prize categories, with one prize going to each category winner. Categories: Cutest costume, scariest costume, and most original costume. How to enter:
-Post and tag the Cakehound on Instagram or Facebook by October 31st at midnight.
-Add #howlinhound2023 in the caption as well as the category you're entering (cutest, scariest, most original). Please only enter one category.
Winner will be announced Friday November 3rd in a social media post.
Dogs must be on leash, no retractable leashes!
Cookies: wheat flour, veg. based fat, honey, turmeric, beet, carob, spinach, spirulina.
No refunds. Event is rain or shine.
